Registering for a Blog Account

If you don’t already have a blog account, you’ll need to register for one. Click the word “Register” on the right side of the page under the heading “Meta,” as shown in figure 1:

Next, fill in the username you would like to use for the blog and your e-mail address, as shown in figure 2:

After you click the Register button, you will receive an e-mail at the e-mail address you entered that includes your account password and a link where you can log in and change your password to something that you can remember.

Writing a Post

If are not already logged in, click the word “Login” on the right side of the page under the heading “Meta,” as shown in figure 3:

If you are already logged in, you click the “Site Admin” link instead:

You will be send to the Dashboard page as shown in figure 5. To post, click the “Write a post” link:

Fill in the title and body of your post as shown in figure 6:

Clicking the Save button will save your post as a draft but not publish it right away. You can log out and back in later to edit it and publish it. Clicking the Publish button will publish your post to the blog.
